The Model 51 Benchrest Bipod was developed for achieving consistency and accuracy while shooting at the range and in the field.
The Model 51 features a tool-less friction control which allows the bipod to be precisely positioned and locked in place, as well as friction knobs, which can be adjusted to allow slight movement for following moving targets.

a good bipod for practical shooting
The bipod attaches easily to a universal sling stud on rifle and the same variety found on many different rifle stocks. The range of movement is impressive and would prove welll suited for hunting and practical rifle matches requiring the engagement of potentially moving targets. Construction appeared to be pretty durable and solid. I used used it in F open shoot and it supported my rifle very well. I will also be using it in practical comps.
